Sam Thompson with “Wolfstongue”

The english author, well known for his novels for grown-ups, living in Belfast, came with the irish consul Aaron Reen, read to P4 and P 5 english from his novel “Wolfstongue” and answered a lot of questions about the process of writing. … How do you get your ideas? Is it hard to write a book? How do you invent a name and your characters, etc.

Very nice answer from Thompson: “Yes, it is hard to write a book and it should be. It should be challenging, only then it get’s good.”

Teachers told me afterwards, they continued to read the novel in class and the children listened attentively . that is , why we do the readings!! 🙂
