Lila Prap, vielfach übersetzte slowenische Autorin und Illustratorin kam zur Buchmesse, las den slowenischen Kindern vor und zeichnete mit ihnen. Ihr bekanntestes Buch heißt “Warum?” Am Schluss übergaben die slowenischen Kinder den Staffelstab an italienische Kinder – Italien ist 2024 das Schwerpunktland der Buchmesse. Ferdinand Patscheider, Direktor der europäischen Schule Frankfurt, freute sich über entstandene Werke!

Frankfurt Bookfair 2023 made it possible, that “Warrior Cats” british author Cherith Baldry came to school, together with the german moderator, actor and speaker Marian Funk. Cherith Baldry, now 73, has written the very successful series together with Kate Cary and Victoria Holmes under the name of Erin Hunter. She lives in a small town not far from London, loves cats and thinks, they are mystical. The secondary aula in school was fully booked- 240 chairs. For P5+ S1 and after a break for S2+S 3. Cherith Baldry is now finishing the 9th collection of the series, hopefully another will follow.

Cristina Marques dos Reis verzauberte die portugiesischen Kinder in der Primarbibliothek nicht nur mit ihrem Buch “A Senhora Coquete”, sondern auch mit Zauberstab und Plüschkatze.  Sie fühlten sich in eine magische Welt versetzt und waren glücklich.
